Project title: The Battery Interface Genome – Materials Acceleration Platform (BIG-MAP)
Project description:
The BIG-MAP project aims at integrating machine learning, computational modeling, artificial intelligence, high throughout and large-scale characterization, and synthesis to accelerate battery materials discovery and optimization. As one of the important tasks within this project, our role is to characterize the BIG-MAP battery materials and devices via ex-situ, in-situ and operando methods, including X-ray/neutron diffraction, X-ray topography and X-ray scattering. The obtained data will be integrated with computational modeling to develop documentation/protocols for battery operation with a goal to optimize performance and maximize longevity of Li-ion batteries.
